Challenge
With a global user base and a complex digital ecosystem across web, mobile, and OTT platforms, this organization faced the challenge of delivering a consistent, high-quality fan experience across diverse regions, devices, and payment systems. The in-house QA team was primarily based in the United States. Device Functional Testing
Testlio performs extensive pre-production feature validation (e.g., Resume Playback, Multiview) as well as live production testing post-release across mobile and OTT devices, including iOS, Android, tvOS, FireTV, Roku, and SmartTVs.
Partner Experience Testing
Testlio validates integrations and entitlements across newly added streaming and distribution partners, like Amazon, ensuring account linking and content playback. For events such as Nike activations and Member Nights, Testlio conducts time-sensitive, event-driven testing to ensure content availability and entitlement flows function correctly.
Ad Delivery Testing
To maintain ad quality and revenue integrity, Testlio verifies ad delivery and the ad server’s supporting analytics and metadata across mobile and OTT platforms, capturing logs and tracking IDs to confirm accurate measurement and reporting.
International Payment Testing
With over 6 million app users globally, Testlio’s network validates a wide range of international payment flows and subscription offerings, including annual, monthly, team, and VIP passes. Testing covers processors such as Klarna and Adyen to ensure accurate pricing, tax calculations, receipt generation, and refund processing.
Testlio also supports thorough validation of in-app purchases across Apple, Android, and Roku platforms, along with critical scenarios such as cancellation deflection and winback flows.

Throughout this period, more than 150 high-severity issues were identified and escalated through the team’s internal JIRA system, ensuring major bugs were resolved before impacting live user experiences.
